How does a subscription to German Food Box work?

Subscribers to German Food Box embark on a blind tour of german food. It's an adventure for which we are your guide!

Our boxes contain varied items of german food. All subscribers to German Food Box receive their boxes with 6-8 different items every month.

Every German Food Box is curated by experts who carefully selects a collection of products that are most representative of the german cuisine.


What will I receive in the box?

Every monthly German Food Box is different and is curated by experts who carefully selects a collection of products that are most representative for Germany.

You will receive 6-8 authentic German products in every box. The individual products vary each month.

Items will come in a decorative gift box with traditional German recipes.


When will my box be shipped?

This is depending on the date you ordered the box. We ship the boxes once per month and to be specific always middle of the month. If you order up to the 10th of a month, you will get your first box in that current month, as long as it is not already sold out then. If you order after the 10th of a month, you will receive your first box in the following month.


Where is it shipped from?

We are shipping from Florida, Charlotte County.


What happens if I subscribe and the current box is sold out?

It could happen that the boxes are sold out. In this case you will get your first box in the following month. We always ship the boxes middle of the month.


How much is shipping?

Shipping is $10. For APO, Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico as well. We ship only to the US.


How can I pause my subscription?

Subscribers can pause their subscription at any time. To pause your subscription, please contact us at info@germanfoodbox.com and we would be happy to help.


How do I cancel my subscription?

It can be cancelled in writing at any time. Please note the cancellation policy.


What is your cancellation policy?

Subscription cancellations must be made at least 5 days prior to your subscription renewal date. If you complete the cancellation process after the 5 day period, the cancellation will go into effect immediately, but you will still be billed for and receive your last box.


Can I replace items which broke in transit?

We do our best to package all shipments as securely as possible. Occasionally, some damage may be noted as a result of a rough journey to your doorstep. Not to worry, we are happy to replace damaged items in your box when this happens - just email us a picture of the damage along with your order number to info@germanfoodbox.com.
